My name is Stephen Fishler, and I am the owner of one of the finest collections of movie posters in the world. I would like to buy what you have to sell, and at a premium above what you'd obtain from other buyers. For example, you can sell them to a dealer and get a good percentage of retail... with a lingering doubt about just what retail is.

You could give them to an auction house. Unfortunately, between the buyer's premium and seller's premium, they would be taking about a 30% cut of the sale. 5% would be reasonable, but paying 30% to an auction house is just plain nuts. Cutting out the middle man is simply the way to go.
